"When we knew that must downsize and leave our lovely Toronto home that we engineered to meet our needs over the past 20 years, we had to gift ourselves in some way for our loss. We were indeed fortunate to meet Heather while on holiday together in Italy and we became familiar with her wonderful work. We commissioned her to create an artistic piece representing our home that we could take to our new abode. The result was amazing. She captured not only the small details such as the birdbath in the front garden and our cats in their favourite spots, but she had absorbed and reflected the very essence of our home.
