It was an honour to be selected by Michelle and John Kristof, owners of an iconic Canadian Tire Store, to create a wall-sculpture to commemorate the corporation’s 100-year celebration. The artwork was auctioned to raise money for JumpStart, helping children in need. The artwork now resides in North Vancouver, Canada.
When I first approached Heather to create a commission for me to donate to a charity, she listened fully to my vision, and asked a lot of questions to establish what I was truly looking to create. This was a very special artwork to celebrate the 100th-birthday of Canadian Tire and to raise money for the JumpStart Charity. Not only did Heather translate my vision into a magnificent work of art, she guided me comfortably through the process, worked with and co-ordinated outside resources, and she went above and beyond to establish accurate historical details for the commission. It was a pleasure working with Heather and we hope that we can do it again in the future. —— Clients, Michelle & John Kristof
